LPM wins second Green Apple Award |
LPM has secured a second prestigious Green Apple award for its work in environmental initiatives. During 2008 the company will be offering an aluminium cans recycling initiative to its clients as a zero cost option. LPM believes this will be of particular interest to its smaller customers who may not have sufficient waste to justify setting up their own streaming systems, resulting in all their waste going straight to landfill.
LPM will place a cardboard recycling bin in offices which wish to take part in the scheme. This will be logo’d “Cans to reduce carbon emissions” and the contents will be collected by Area Management on one of their scheduled visits thereby avoiding any additional third party CO2 emissions.
LPM’s office and trade waste specialists will collect these from our head Office on their weekly visits and arrange recycling. Proceeds will be put towards buying trees from treeappeal .com;
