By the very nature of our industry we are sensitive to our environmental responsibilities.
We recognise maintaining the quality of the environment is a major challenge, both now and into the future.
LPM adheres to, and where possible exceeds current legislation. At the same time, we endeavour to anticipate new requirements, and set our own standard where none exists. Wherever possible we purchase from suppliers who share our concern over the environment and who take measures to ensure their own operations reflect this requirement. Equally, we will always use products from sustainable resources.
As part of this environmentally friendly strategy we also minimise waste from our operations and as far as possible re-use or recycle materials. At the same time we strive to control the level of harmful emissions and actively promote the use of energy efficient systems.
As a company, LPM continues to support Charity Organisations which promote environmental protection such as Waste Watch, Tidy Britain Group and Worldwide Fund for Nature.
Our dedication to the environment is also underpinned by recently being awarded ISO 14001 status. This accreditation acknowledges our professional standards in environmental management.
We were also proud recipients of the prestigious Green Apple award recently. Yet another example of our commitment to an environmentally friendly strategy for work procedures.
